As the coronavirus outbreak eases in Hong Kong, the SAR government has relaxed social distancing rules and begun to resume schooling. Under the Cash Payout Scheme that disburses HK$10,000 to each Hong Kong permanent resident, local malls have recently seen a significant rise of customer flow.
To further boost consumption and stimulate the economy, Sino Group will roll out the ‘S? Rewards Ultimate Lucky Draw’ as part of its multi-mall socialized interactive rewards programme, S? Rewards.
Running from July 13 to October 4, the lucky draw allows consumers to earn rewards and win prizes at the five Sino Malls – including tmtplaza, Olympian City, Citywalk, China Hong Kong City, and Gold Coast Piazza. It will deliver more than 30,000 premium prizes and around HKD$2,000,000 of shopping and dining cash coupons.
“S? Rewards was launched only for a year, and around 70% of members have already registered points or redeemed exclusive offers and shopping rewards after earning badges for completing selected activities,” says Andrea Leung, General Manager (Leasing Marketing & Promotions) of Sino Group. “In the past year, S? Rewards has fostered retail consumption in shopping malls and promoted a multi-mall shopping experience.”
The launch of the ‘S? Rewards Ultimate Lucky Draw’ coincides with the first anniversary of S? Rewards. Through analysing the data collected this year, Sino Mall has designed the large-scale lucky draw based on the consumption preferences of members.
Leveraging big data to categorize individual customers via their ‘badges’, and subsequently introduce customized promotional offers, S? Rewards encourages members to partake in the programme’s interactive activities.
For the ‘S? Rewards Ultimate Lucky Draw’, four themed draw boxes are assigned, namely the ‘Play Winners’, ‘Smart Winners’, ‘Fashionable Winners’ and ‘Charismatic Winners’. Customers can cast electronic lottery tickets into different draw boxes according to their personal preferences.
One will have the opportunity to win valuable gifts, including Honda Jazz 1.3 all-rounded liftback car, 7-day accommodation package at Thailand’s Phuket Pool Villa, Rolex Datejust 36 classic watch, MaBelle 18K/750 white color gold diamond earrings (with a total diamond weight of 2.02 carats), 16-inch MacBook Pro, Nintendo Switch, and more!
With single spending of HK$300 in electronic money, customers can join in the three stages of the lucky draw by picking a category of their choices, and compete for prizes that amount for around HKD$2,000,000, as well as shopping cash couples applicable in more than 300 shops.
What’s more, there will be a ‘ranking contest’ reward for each of the three lucky draw stages. The three members with the most accumulated lucky draw tickets in each of the category will receive HK$1,000 shopping vouchers for use in Sino Malls.

Rewards members reserve gifts through the mobile application, then redeem gifts and free parking privileges in the mall. Aside from achieving online-to-offline (O2O) sales target, the mobile application also brings customers to the physical mall, thereby increasing the flow of people in the mall; not to mention that the interactive games also enhance the participation of customers,” says Leung.
