There have been 43 additional coronavirus cases in Hong Kong as at 4:00pm today, bringing the tally to 846, which include one probable case.
Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan of the Centre for Health Protection, said the 20 females and 23 males are aged between 16 and 60 years.
Thirty four of them had been abroad including a Tuen Mun Hospital nurse who did not work in isolation wards. She did not go to work since March 9 and had been to London between March 13 and 22. A domestic helper who returned from Manila was also infected.
The rest had no travel records. Some of them are linked to a cluster of infections at bars while the source of infections for three cases including a Cathay Pacific ground staff are still unknown.
There are no cases linked to beauty parlors today, Chuang said.
