No new confirmed Wuhan coronavirus cases

The head of the Communicable Disease Branch of the Centre for Health Protection, Chuang Shuk-kwan, said in a press briefing today there are no new confirmed Wuhan coronavirus cases as at noon today.

There are 10 confirmed cases involving three females and seven males, aged between 39 and 72 years. They are all at Princess Margaret Hospital. Nine are stable, while one is in a serious condition.

A total of 41 people who had close contact with the patients tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus and are being quarantined at the Lady MacLehose Holiday Village.

Public hospitals have reported 95 new suspected cases to the Department of Health as at noon today, and a total of 139 patients are still being isolated and treated, said Vivien Chuang, Hospital Authority Chief Manager of Infection, Emergency and Contingency.
