Immigration police have arrested 10 French and Belgian nationals in Bangkok, Thailand for allegedly running a “call center” scam to lure European companies into paying for fake financial services, The Bangkok Post reports.

The gang, which was working from a luxury four-story house in the Thong Lor area, had been under surveillance since December 23 last year, following a tip-off from a police informant.

Following a raid on their workplace on Thursday, all the suspects — nine French nationals and one Belgian — admitted to the scam.
