Four more die in Wuhan, 31 infected in mainland China

A total of 31 more people are infected with the new coronavirus in mainland China, including 30 who arrived from abroad and one person in northwestern Gansu province.

There were also four deaths in the Hubei provincial capital Wuhan on on Sunday, according to China's National Health Commission, Xinhua reports.

Additionally, 17 suspected cases were also registered in the past 24 hours, all arrivals from overseas.

So far, the total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 81,470, while the cumulative death toll in the mainland, excluding Hubei, is at 3,304.

The number of cases arrving from overseas has reached 723 in total.

On the same day, Chinese health authorities said 322 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the total number of recovered cases to 75,770.
