Consultant guilty of Jockey Club membership bribes

A membership consultant, accused of conspiring with another to offer a part of HK$680,000 for Hong Kong Jockey Club members to help a person apply for  membership in 2016, was convicted by the District Court today, the Independent Commission Against Corruption said.

Vincent Wai Jun-feng, 53, operator of Potential Membership Centre Limited, was found guilty of bribery. He will be sentenced on December 31 and has been remanded in custody.
