A seven-member jury, consisting of four men and three women, has convicted three men, accused of killing a 28-year-old man, in a murder case at the High Court today.

The main defendant, Tsang Cheung-yan, 30, was found guilty of murder, while Keith Lau Shek-ho, 24, and Cheung Sin-hang, 27 were found guilty of manslaughter.

They were accused of murdering Cheung Man-li, 28, in a flat in an industrial office block in Tsuen Wan before encasing him in concrete in a box made of wooden boards, dubbed a "cement coffin," on March 4, 2016. Police found the corpse three weeks later.

Tsang was sentenced to life imprisonment, and Lau and Cheung will be sentenced on Monday.

The jurors reached a unanimous decision after about 13 hours of deliberation.
