The Hong Kong Observatory said a partial solar eclipse will be visible on December 26, Boxing Day from 12:17pm to 3:22pm. It will peak at 1:55pm.

The event can be best observed at places with an unobstructed view towards the south to southwest if weather permits, the forecasters said. About 46 percent of the sun's diameter will be obscured by the moon at maximum eclipse. Photo: Hong Kong Space Museum.
