Soldiers of the Hong Kong Garrison of the Peoples' Liberation Army were seen cleaning up the roads from blockades in Kowloon Tong near the Baptist University, after their barrack was blocked off since the middle of the week.

Citizens at the scene were clapping and cheering the soldiers and helped them with cleaning up the roads. Dozens of riot police also stood alert at the scene.

Another barrack of the Peoples' Liberation Army in Tsim Sha Tsui was blocked off today afternoon, as protesters set up barricades with bricks laid all over the intersection between Chatham Road South and Austin Road.

A dwarf wall built with bricks and concrete was also seen on a road near Polytechnic University connecting Hung Hom station and Chatham Road South.
