Police confirms that they have received a report at the Complaints Against Police Office, accusing police of raping in Tsuen Wan Police Station on September 27.

This came after rumours online allege that a woman was sexually abused under police detention, and has to undergo abortion surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Police said today that since it is a very serious accusation, criminal investigation was immediately initiated, and as of now, the accusation does not match with the findings of the investigation, and police would go on with the investigation.

The Hospital Authority said that they would not comment based on rumours of individual cases, and emphasized the importance of patients' privacy.
