Woman suffers rupture in right eyeball, facial fractures

Sources say a woman whose right eye was badly injured during last night’s clashes in Tsim Sha Tsui, suffered a rupture in her right eyeball ruptured and that some bones in her face are fractured, RTHK reports. 
It is said that the white outer layer of her right eye has been ripped, the lens was damaged. Her upper jaw and nasal bones were also fractured.
The woman, who was clad in black and appeared to be a protester, had undergone an emergency operation. 
Media reports alleged that she was hurt when a projectile hit and broke her goggles. 
Photos were later circulated online with what looked like a bean bag round lodged in the goggles said to be found next to her.
