Police now suspect a man, found lying on the ground near Central Pier 7 in Central last month, was murdered, RTHK reports.

It follows a post-mortem examination that showed the 63-year-old had received a fatal injury to his head.

A 26-year-old man has now been arrested in Tuen Mun on suspicion of murder. It is alleged that the younger man pushed the elder man to the ground following a dispute.

On June 16, police received a report that a man had collapsed on Man Kwong Street. Officers sent to the scene found the man lying unconscious. He was sent to Queen Mary Hospital, where he died two days later.
