CK Asset sells Borrett Road unit for HK$250m

CK Asset (1113) sold a 2,945-sq-ft unit at 21 Borrett Road in Mid-Levels for HK$250 million, or HK$84,890 per sq ft.

In February, CK Asset sold a 3,378-sq-ft penthouse at the project with a private swimming pool for HK$459.4 million, or HK$136,000 per sq ft, as well as three parking spaces. The per-sq-ft price hit a new high in Asia. The management fee of the unit is HK$36,138 per month.

CK Asset has realized HK$1.74 billion after selling six units at the project.

Also, the number of licensed real estate agents in Hong Kong increased by 99 to 41,143 last month, a new high, data from the Estate Agents Authority showed.

In the commercial property sector, a 1,500-sq-ft space at 7 Lan Fong Road in Causeway Bay changed hands for HK$80 million, or HK$53,333 per sq ft. The seller stand to gain HK$79.43 million after holding the property for 46 years.

The one-month Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate, which is linked to the mortgage rate, fell to 0.08179 percent on Monday.
