Hong Kong's forex reserves rise to US$495.9b in February
Business | 5 Mar 2021 5:20 pmHong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets increased by 0.55 percent to US$495.9 billion (HK$3.87 trillion) last month compared to January.
Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, the foreign currency reserve assets at the end of February was US$495.7 billion, up by 0.51 percent.
The foreign currency reserve assets represent about seven times the currency in circulation, or 41 percent of Hong Kong dollar M3.
