Greater Bay Airlines has applied to operate 104 routes between Hong Kong and multiple cities, of which nearly half are to the mainland.
Businessman Bill Wong Cho-bau's airlines applied for 48 routes between Hong Kong and the mainland, and multiple cities in Japan, South Korea and Thailand, according to the Air Transport Licensing Authority.
The routes cover passenger, cargo and mail.
According to company registry records the airline appointed five directors on December 10 – SF Express chairman Wang Wei, former security secretary Ambrose Lee Siu-kwong, former Airport Authority chief executive Stanley Hui Hon-chung, Legislative Council president Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen and Executive Councillor Arthur Li Kwok-cheung.
