North Point Talent demands Espirt directors to resign

Esprit (0330) announced that the company has received a written requisition dated July 8 from North Point Talent to remove Anders Christian Kristiansen from the chief executive and executive director, Johannes Georg Schmidt-Schultes from chief financial officer and any appointed director seated within the period from July 7 to special general meeting held, whereby the requisitionist requested the company to convene a special general meeting.

North Point Talent was backed by Karen Lo Ki-yan, a descendent of Vitasoy International (0345).

Esprit closed higher at HK$1.47 per share, up 67.05 percent.

North Point Talent made pursuant to Bye-law No. 58 of the Memorandum of Association and New Bye-laws. Meanwhile, Marc Andreas Tschirner and Christin Chiu Su-yi are appointed as an executive director of the Esprit with immediate effect.
