China Association of Automobile Manufacturers forecasts vehicle sales to have grown in June, but at a slower pace.
The association estimates that sales in June grew by 4 percent month-on-month and 11 percent year-on-year to 2.28 million units. The growth rate was slower than that in May, which was 5.9 percent month-on-month and 14.5 percent year-on-year.
The accumulated sales were 10.24 million units for the first half, falling by 17 percent, from the same period last year. However, the rate of decline has narrowed, compared with the 22.6 percent drop in the first five months.
