Digital insurer Blue says more online visits

Pageviews of local digital life insurer Blue’s website increased by nearly two times over the first four months this year amid the coronavirus outbreak, compared with  the last four months of 2019, and the number of first-time visitors also grew by about 2.5 times, said chief executive Charles Hung Tak-chow.

Blue is offering  free HK$100 million life insurance protection to industries hard hit by the virus, including tourism, hotel, aviation, catering, retail, art, and entertainment.

The assumed sum assured of the one-year policy under the offer is HK$250,000. The offer is available to 400 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
