Gambling revenue in Macau fell for the eighth consecutive month, with a year-on-year plunge of 93.2 percent last month.
Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said gambling revenue was 1.76 billion pataca (HK$1.71 billion) in May, up by 1.34 times over a month earlier.
For the first five months, the gambling revenue slumped by 73.7 percent to 33 billion pataca, compared with a year ago.
Shares of Galaxy Entertainment (0027) gained by 4.49 percent to HK$54.65, as of 13:27 local time.
