PetroChina (0857) said net profit dropped by 13.9 percent from a year ago to 45.68 billion yuan (HK$49.97 billion) last year and said it will prepare capital expenditure plans according to global oil prices.
The basic earnings per share were 25 fen last year and a final dividend of 6.604 fen per share was declared.
Revenue grew by 6 percent year-on-year to 2.52 trillion yuan in 2019.
The oil and natural gas equivalent output amounted to 1.56 billion barrels, rising by 4.6 percent year-on-year with natural gas output up by 8.3 percent. The output from overseas operations amounted to 215.4 million barrels, representing an increase of 5.7 percent from 2018 and accounting for 13.8 percent of the total output.
