Emperor International (0163) plans to launch four residential projects this year, including one at Davis Street, Kennedy Town and one at Mosque Street in Mid-Levels during the second quarter, offering 57 and 99 flats, respectively.
The units feature open designs, or one or two bedrooms, said Alex Yeung, executive director of Emperor, adding that the company is meanwhile preparing for the launches of two projects in Tuen Mun and Shouson Hill.
The developer said it has sold 11 houses of its Peak Castle in Tuen Mun last year, generating revenue of around HK$1.1 billion.
Executive director Donald Cheung said the company has acquired the Centre Hollywood, Tai Ping Shan at HK$595 million last June for the investment portfolio and is confident about future rents.
Emperor had also sold a hotel in Yau Ma Tei, which brought HK$746 million return.
The company is also involed in a rebuilding project in Tuen Mun, with a gross floor area of 228,000 square feet. It is expected to be finished by 2024.
