Two Hong Kong Paralympians to receive HK$600,000| 5 Sep 2021 4:50 pm
Two badminton athletes will receive a total HK$600,000 from Henderson Land after they won silver and bronze in Tokyo Paralympics today.
Chu Man-kai won a silver medal in the men's singles SH6, while Chan Ho-yuen snatched bronze in the men's singles WH2.
Chu will receive HK$400,000 under the Henderson Land Commendation Scheme for Elite Athletes, while Chan will get HK$200,000.
Hong Kong has won a total of two silver and three bronzes in this year's Paralympics.
