One of the largest trade shows of its kind in Hong Kong, Global Sources Lifestyle x Fashion features an extensive range of trending products and unique thematic zones.
Kick-started yesterday on Sunday and lasting until October 30, Global Sources Lifestyle x Fashion has already attracted a number of international sourcing professionals to enjoy a one-stop sourcing experience like never before. A myriad of new products are featured, including trending gifts, sportswear, premiums, housewares, apparels, fabrics, and other fashion products all in one setting.
The only sourcing event in Hong Kong dedicated to creative, curated and innovative gifts, premiums and home products, this year’s Global Sources Lifestyle takes quality of life as a central theme, putting focus on sports, health and environmental protection.
There are a range of unique zones this year, including ‘Millennial Top Picks’- a curated selection of innovative products that appeal to today’s highest-spending demographic according to 5 different lifestyles of this generation; Cool Design Gallery which showcases more than 60 innovative, award-winning gift products; Color Trends Area which is a gallery of 2020’s hottest hues in home décor, in collaboration with colour experts Pantone; as well as a range of Conference Programs by top experts and industry leaders, sharing their insights on future industry trends.
In support of vibrant creative talents of Hong Kong
Held simultaneously with Global Sources Lifestyle, Global Sources Fashion gathers a range of suppliers of the highest quality from the Asia-Pacific region. The ‘Trends Spotlight’ features upcoming seasons’ trend-setting hues in fashion based on Pantone’s forecast, with a selection of matching exhibitor products; while the Fashion Tech Product Demo presents innovative products of exhibitors of Fashion Tech Zone to buyers with product demonstrations and Fashion Tech Forum at the conference stage, bridging their cap with international buyers.
This year, there are also special thematic zones dedicated to recognizing and supporting original local designs of Hong Kong, such as the ‘Young Designers Corner’ which showcases fashion bags, jewelry, apparel and other products from emerging designers both at home and abroad from the Institute of Textiles and Clothing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU ITC), Savannah College of Art and Design Hong Kong (SCAD) and Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) and Project Paper Studio, bringing cutting-edge creations from these designers to life. There will also be a number of Fashion Parades at the show for participating designers to display their creativity.
