Li Ning reports same-store sales growth

Chinese sportswear manufacturer Li Ning (2331) announced today it registered a high-teens year-on-year increase in same-store sales in the overall platform for the first third quarters this year.

In terms of channels, direct operational retail stores and franchised distribution channels registered a low-teens growth respectively, while the e-commerce business registered a mid-fifties growth.

Trade fair orders for Li Ning brand products, excluding China Li Ning and Li Ning Young from franchised distributors, which are for the second quarter of 2020, held last month registered a low-teens growth on a year-on-year basis, the company said.

The company has 6,564 points of sale as of September 30, increasing 142 quarter-to-quarter.

Shares of Li Ning slid 0.56 percent, or 15 HK cents, to HK$26.55 as at 1:51pm.
