Cathay Pacific diverts some flights to Xiamen and Taipei

Cathay Pacific Airways said four flights have been diverted to other nearby airports today.

One runway at Hong Kong International Airport was blocked after a China Eastern Airlines Airbus skidded off the runway earlier today in heavy rain.

One flight from Shanghai was diverted to Xiamen and another from Nanjing was diverted to Guangzhou. A flight from Penang was diverted to Shenzhen and a flight from Osaka was diverted to Taipei.
