Monday, January 25, 2021
An option of Chinese medicine services will be offered to Covid patients staying in the Community Treatment Facility at AsiaWorld-Expo starting tomorrow, the Hospital Authority announced today.
The authority said eligible persons aged 18 or above who are suitable to be treated with the service can enroll on a voluntary basis after being clinically assessed by a Western medicine doctor and a Chinese medicine practitioner.
“The Chinese medicine services at the facility will be provided by seven Chinese medicine clinics. Patients can also choose to receive Chinese medical rehabilitation services after being discharged,” said a Hospital Authority spokesman.
There are currently over 700 patients undergoing Chinese medical rehabilitation services, according to health officials.
