Hong Kong reports 17 new Covid-19 cases

The Centre for Health Protection said as at 12:00 am today, it has recorded 17 additional confirmed coronavirus cases – all are imported – bringing the tally to 5,238 cases, including one probable case.
The newly reported cases recorded had a travel history during the incubation period as 11 of them come from India, and the rest are from the Philippines, Pakistan, Morocco, Indonesia and France.
Health officals called on the public to avoid going out, having social contact and dining out. They also urged the elderly to stay home and consider asking their family and friends to help with everyday tasks such as shopping for basic necessities.
So far, a total of 4,950 patients with confirmed or probable infection have been discharged. 130 confirmed patients are hospitalized, in which 12 of them are critical.
