11 more virus patients in China, 227 still in hospitals

China said today that it received reports of 11 new confirmed coronavirus patients in the mainland on Wednesday, including one patients domestically infected in Qingdao, and 10 imported patients, state media said.
The domestic patient was asymptomatic and is from Shandong province. The patient was re-categorized as confirmed, the National Health Commission said in its daily report.
Two new suspected patients from outside the mainland were reported in Shanghai, but there are no new deaths related to the disease, the commission said.
Among the new imported patients, four are in Guangdong, three in Shanghai, two in Shaanxi, and one in Hebei.
On Wednesday, 12 patients were discharged from hospitals.
A total of 3,060 imported patients had been reported in the mainland. Of them, 2,833 had been discharged from hospitals, and 227 remained hospitalized. No deaths had been reported from among imported patients.
