Two elderly die taking virus deaths count to 29

Two more coronvirus patients – an elderly man and a woman – have died, the hospitals announced.

This takes the tally of coronavirus deaths to 29 in Hong Kong.

The 79-year-old male patient with chronic disease was admitted on July 27 to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital due to cough.
An 89-year-old female patient in Tuen Mun Hospital with chronic disease was admitted on July 26 due to fever.
Their condition continued to deteriorate and the hospitals had informed the families and had agreed to not attempt cardiopulmonary resuscitation if the patients' condition further deteriorated. The QEH patient died at 11.44pm last night, and the TMH patient died at 12.20am this morning. 
The hospitals said they expressed sadness about the deaths and offered assistance to the families.
