Kane Tanaka set herself a target when she reached 100. That was to become the world's oldest person. And here she is celebrating at her home in Fukuoka her feat of achieving the high mark at the age of age of 116 and 67 days - and she's still going strong. The sprightly Japanese with a love of mathematics and beating people at the board game of Othello has just been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the oldest. Her best time? "This right now," she says.
