Convoy Global Holdings (1019) said yesterday it received a petition filed in the High Court against 33 respondents, including itself and four of its subsidiaries.

The company said Zhu Xiaoyan filed the petition and it was issued on December 29.

The respondents include Roy Cho Kwai Chee, Quincy Wong Lee-man, Kwok Hiu-kwan, Chen Pei Xiong, Convoy Global and four of its units, namely, Convoy Collateral, CSL Securities, Convoy Financial Services and Convoy Wealth Management.

Zhu asked the High Court to declare as void the shares placement undertaken by Convoy on October 29, 2015.

Zhu held more than three million Convoy Global shares before the HK$4 billion placement in 2015.

Meanwhile, China Green (0904) said yesterday that it has received a court petition from Zhu, a Convoy Global shareholder, seeking unspecified damages from the company.

Earlier, Convoy Global also took a similar move as it accused China Green of causing financial losses and damages to it.
