Inspired by humanities, philosophy, architectural styles and artistic asthetics, Taiwanese brand Shiatzy Chen's autumn/winter collection blends the best of east and west.

The emphasis is on smooth outlines and natural tones of carmine, hunter green, apricot, indigo, black and white. Lace, cashmere, jacquard and sequins give a plush tactile feel.

There are five themes: Rococo Rhapsody, Classical Beauty, Oriental Auspiciousness, Straight Charming, and Classic and Attitude.

The more elaborate themes are Oriental Auspiciousness, which uses clouds, dragons, lions and phoenixes as main patterns, and Rococo Rhapsody, a rococo take that focuses on details like bows and pleats. One example is the dragon and phoenix print silk dress decorated with black lace and pleats.

In line with the clothes, the accessories also feature dragon and phoenix patterns along with floral prints. As for shoes, femininity is delivered through lace and sequins.
