Thanksgiving is coming! Celebrate this tradition by gathering the family round for a feast on November 23.

American restaurant Stone Nullah Tavern in Wan Chai has a three-course Thanksgiving dinner set (HK$548), available from November 20 to 26.

The main focus is obviously the turkey, said Josh Chu, food and beverage director of Homegrown Group. The restaurant offers two cooking styles: roasted with garlic butter or deep-fried in the Southern tradition.

His personal favorites are the sides, which include black pepper and bourbon gravy, traditional stuffing, pulled pork rib mac' n' cheese, roast potatoes and charred brussels sprouts. "The stuffing always brings back memories with my family," he said. "My family would get together, from all over the United States, for that one meal in a year. It's a time to give thanks to all that you have."

Though Thanksgiving dishes are much like the same every year, Chu insists on bringing in new elements each year.

Chili honey butter cheddar biscuit is a new dish. The set also includes a homegown salad with local organic vegetables and typical American desserts such as skillet-baked apple crumble and s'mores.

In Causeway Bay, Jamie's Italian offers a hearty Thanksgiving meal made with sustainable ingredients. With portions enough for a group of six to eight, the meal would be a carnivore's favorite. The free-range organic roasted turkey is what Thanksgiving is all about. To go with the six-kilogram bird are homemade spiced cranberry sauce, bacon and walnut stuffing.

Balance the meat with sweet glazed carrots. Seasoned with thyme, clementine and caramelized garlic, it may change the mind of those who hate carrots.

Spicy roasted squash plated with smoky bacon can change your perception of vegetables while Michela's cauliflower, apple and sweet potato combines two different kinds of sweetness.

Available from November 20 to 26, the meal is HK$1,600 if you dine in or HK$1,200 as a takeaway.

Lily & Bloom in Central is offering both thanksgiving night set menu and family feast this year.

The three-course set (HK$650), available from November 23 to 25, starts with a roasted carrot and kohlrabi soup or cured salmon. Mains choices are slow-cooked turkey breast, grilled New York striploin and pumpkin ricotta tortellini. A must-try is the dessert apple tartlet, which tastes as good as it looks.

The family feast, designed for six, includes a five-kilogram American heritage turkey matched with traditional cranberry sauce and gravy.

Not to be missed are the sides, such as truffle mashed potato and roasted brussels sprouts with bacon. End the meal the traditional way - with a Thanksgiving pumpkin pie. The feast (HK$2,560, HK$2,250 for takeaways) is available until December 10.

For those who find difficult to finish the whole bird, Grand Central at Elements is where you should go. Its four-course meal (HK$398) on Thanksgiving day serves up roast turkey breast with festive sides like mac and cheese and roasted sweet potatoes. The giblet gravy enriches the meat. If you are looking for options other than turkey, try the prime rib eye steak or smaple citrus salmon.

Crab and avocado salad and roasted pumpkin soup are also included. Pumpkin returns in the dessert as oven-baked pumpkin pie served with apple compote and cinnamon whipped cream.
