Juice up!

Travel | Ivy Ong-Wood 16 Jul 2019

If cold-pressed juice is good for your overall skin health, think how much more efficient it will be applied directly on the skin. Going by this philosophy, Fresh co-founder Lev Glazman has thought up the new Vitamin Nectar Glow Juice Antioxidant Face Serum (HK$250).

Nutritious oils are chopped by a rotating cylinder to form "pulp-like" microbubbles containing coconut oil, vitamins C and E, and beta-carotene. When they hit your skin, they blend with jicama root juice, chicory root juice, ginger water, vitamin B5, lemon and orange fruit extracts, and minerals.

Said Glazman: "I'm a big believer in cold-pressed juices for the energy and antioxidant benefits I get from the vitamins in the fruits and vegetables.

"So that's how I envisioned this serum - like a nutritious shot of juice for your face."
