Formula E returning to Hong Kong for new season with more teamsSports | 17 Jun 2019
Hong Kong will feature again in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, whose expanded program will include new venues in Seoul and London.
The Hong Kong E-Prix will be held on March 1 as the sixth race of the new season.
The championship will begin on November 22 in Saudi Arabia and end with a planned doubleheader in London on July 25-26 next year.
"We are thrilled with the return of the Hong Kong E-Prix as race six of the 2019/2020 season," said Coffee Pang, Director of Marketing and Communications, Formula Electric Racing Hong Kong Ltd. "We are delighted to be able to showcase to the world once again the best our city can offer ... The annual event is much more than a motor race as it showcases the latest in sustainable mobility development."
Mercedes-Benz and Porsche are also set to enter the competition, taking the total number of cars to 24.
