Bucks' star too strong for Pistons

Sports | 16 Apr 2019

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 24 points and 17 rebounds in just 24 minutes, and the Eastern Conference top seeds Milwaukee Bucks stormed to a 121-86 win over the Detroit Pistons in their NBA first-round opener.

The MVP candidate ran and dunked all over the Pistons, and a frustrated Andre Drummond shoved him to the floor in the third quarter, after Antetokounmpo, pictured, grabbed an offensive rebound with Detroit trailing by 41 points.

Elsewhere, the Houston Rockets routed Utah 122-90, the Portland Trail Blazers beat Oklahoma City 104-99, and the Boston Celtics defeated Indiana 84-74.
