AXA Hong Kong has collaborated with the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation to launch a new medical insurance plan for people up to 80 years old.

The FirstCare Plus Medical Insurance provides five plan options with overall annual benefit limits ranging from HK$250,000 to HK$5 million.

Yi Mien Koh, managing director, health and employee benefits, Axa Hong Kong, said the plan provides full cover up to the overall annual benefit limit within the AXA Signature Network.

The network is a medical platform offering more than 400 medical practitioners and health-care facilities from five private hospitals: Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital, Hong Kong Baptist Hospital, Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, Matilda International Hospital and Union Hospital.

Within the network, customers can make an appointment with registered doctors, then present the physical medical card or QR code to the selected health-care facilities. After pre-authorization, they can enjoy cashless service, Koh said.
