18 hurt when seating collapses at Iniesta interviewSports | 16 May 2018
Eighteen people received minor injuries when a temporary stand of seats collapsed during a television interview with Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta.
Iniesta was not hurt in the incident at a municipal football pitch, where a seating was set up for spectators to watch the interview. Barcelona's city hall says 11 people, including two minors, were taken to hospital to be treated for contusions.
During the interview, Iniesta, 34, said he will decide "next week" whether to continue his career in either China or Japan. "There are two scenarios, China or Japan, and each has its advantages," he said.
