You don't need to wait for Valentine's Day for an excuse to buy flowers. Pretty arrangements are an instant pick-me-up for your home - and a perfect way to bring spring indoors.

Lane Crawford has brought Ellermann into its Pacific Place Home Store to offer custom-designed bouquets and plant arrangements. The floral boutique is known for its luxurious arrangements with a bold twist.

Ellermann founder Diane Nittke said: "I have been in Hong Kong for 20 years and have always regarded Lane Crawford as a truly visionary and highly creative brand. We cannot wait to bring our daring creations to Lane Crawford's customers; those who value beautifully crafted artisanal products are sure to be delighted."

There are five exclusive themed bouquets available year-round in the store: Sheer Blush, Cotton & Lace, Fire Frenzy, Dark Romance and Sequin Shimmer.

Also, Ellermann is offering private workshops on floral arrangement and styling, using items from the home store such as crystal, glassware and candles.

Said Joanna Gunn, Lane Crawford's chief brand officer: "As Ellermann is recognized for its unique and bespoke bouquets, we are very excited to bring its exclusive bouquets to our customers who love daring, bolder and contemporary floral expression."

The Provencal look is always popular. Two places you can get the whole lifestyle experience, down to the flowers, are Maison XXII in Pacific Place and Van Gogh Senses in 1881 Heritage.

Maison XXII, which was conceptualized in Les Baux-de-Provence, has more modern arrangements, while Van Gogh Senses offers flowers that feature in the artist's paintings - chief among them, sunflowers.

Too busy to head down to the florist?

Flower subscriptions are one way to ensure your home is filled with fresh blooms all year round.

Bydeau, which sources unusual blooms for its arrangements, has a monthly flower subscription starting from HK$2,000. The design and flowers change each time so there's no need to worry about getting the same thing again. You will receive a vase with the first delivery, which you can use to house bouquets.

If you're looking for flowers that last, check out Bo Concept's new wall art. The white porcelain flowers (HK$359 a set)- roses, magnolias or tulips - can be attached above the bed, over a doorway or on a statement wall to add creative details to your home.
