A 'b' line for leather

Weekend Glitz | Joey Cheung and Katie Hung 8 Dec 2017

Leather is always the king of fall-winter fashion, no?

If it were up to the French fashion brand agnes b, it would be. Inspired by the favorite leather fashion of founder Agnes Trouble, the new collection makes leather the core, matched with silhouettes.

The very first agnes b leather jacket in Hong Kong was found in 1995. It has not let up since. Returning this season, leather persists, from clothes to accessories, a Snap cardigan here, a miniskirt there, indeed, everything, many matched to trendy mixed-color designs.

Rock 'n' roll, you see, is not the only leather style there is.

This new collection beats the presumption that you can only wear leather up to a point.

Wear it all day, the collection seems to say. One set, for example, is a black and white combination, a striped leather vest jacket donned over a matching black top with leather skirt. Wear it the whole day and see if you'd not lose any of your elegance and nobility.

There is another: a long coat, sleeveless dress and pants, all in lambskin.

Both clear-cut and straight-line design give leather-lovers a variety of dressing styles while keeping a sense of simplicity - an all-time philosophy of the brand - to the collection of French style.
