Yip eyes ninth title in Macau GPCentral Station | 15 Nov 2017
Teddy Yip Jr is feeling the need for speed as he hopes to see his SJM Theodore Racing Team take the checkered flag and go into the record books at the 64th Macau Grand Prix on Sunday.
Yip, who grew up in Hong Kong, is SJM's team principal and has his sights set on winning a record ninth title at the event.
"We are extremely excited about being back in Macau, and delighted once again to be here with our loyal partners SJM," Yip said. "We took a memorable and record eighth victory at the event back in 2015, and now we believe we are in good shape to reclaim our title.
"We have signed four of the world's most talented young drivers -- Maximillian Gunther, Callum Ilott, Zhou Guanyu and Mick Schumacher."
