Record-setting Sohail Tanvir to lead Pakistan in HK SixesSports | 13 Oct 2017
Sohail Tanvi will captain a strong seven- man Pakistan squad for the Hong Kong World Sixes, to be played at Kowloon Cricket Club on October 28 and 29.
Tanvir, fresh off his world-record bowling performance of five for three in the Caribbean Premier League, will be joined by Sohail Khan, Jahid Ali, Mohammad Sami, Anwar Ali, Hammad Azam and Sahibzada Farhan.Tanvir, pictured, was due to play in the Hong Kong T20 Blitz for the Galaxy Gladiators Lantau in March, but withdrew because of his international commitments with Pakistan.
Sami has taken more than 200 international wickets, while fast bowler Anwar Ali has played 38 internationals. Farhan, 21, was selected on the back five consecutive scores above 50 in Pakistan's domestic one-day competition.
