Actor Nick Cheung Ka-fai has bought a 3,366-square-foot flat in Grenville House in the Mid-Levels, becoming a neighbor of former chief executive Tung Chee-hwa.
The award-winning actor bought the flat for HK$131 million, or about HK$35,400 per sellable sq ft. Cheung is known to be keen on acquiring properties.
He had previously bought flats at Bel- Air in Pok Fu-lam and Rose Court in Happy Valley.
The previous owner bought the Grenville House flat in 1999 for HK$20.08 million. An agent for Cheung declined to comment on the purchase.
Cheung is recognized for his role in the movie Beast Stalker in 2008 and won Best Actor in the Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Awards that year.
