Tiffany relishing return to where it all startedSports | Apr 20, 2017
The 23-year-old, who has enjoyed a solid season with the University of Southern California in her final year in college, is excited to be competing on her home course again following her breakthrough win last year that led to her participation in the Rio Olympics. "The past year has been really amazing and I am very thankful for all the support I have received," said Chan, one of only three amateur players to qualify for the Rio Games. "It all started at Fan Ling when I came through a tense finish to win, which gave me a lot of confidence."
Her Olympic experience and subsequent shot at the LPGA Tour via the qualifying school, Chan said, have helped her game.
World ranking points will be up for grabs in the three-day tournament to be played on the Old Course and with a new title sponsor in EFG Bank.
