For HK$68,000, Loewe says it will offer a crystal-studded television with an 80 centimeter screen (diagonal). Only 20 of these will be made available in Hong Kong. Pre-sales orders are now being taken , a spokesman says. Eight orders have been received, so far.

Loewe promises that these TVs can be configured on request, both in terms of technology and design.

The custom-made version called the Loewe Individual, features Swarovski crystal and available in high gloss white or high gloss black and includes an integrated hard disk recorder. It is also equipped to receive high-definition broadcasts.

Seven different front color options are available. There are the basic colors anthracite and chrome silver as well as the optional colors aluminum bronze, titanium, silver, black and high gloss cream.

The front of the set can be combined with insets on the sides. These insets are made of colored plastic, fine natural materials and high-quality metals, such as chrome or polished, anodized aluminum. They can be combined to add a personal touch.

Pictures are displayed in a 16:9 cinema format, while high-definition LCD panels (1366 x 768 pixels) combined with the new Loewe Digital+ platform, the TV offers higher picture quality.

In addition, the CRX sound system developed by Loewe provides an exceptional audio experience, according to the company.

The set-up options are a drawcard. The TV can be rotated, tilted or moved up and down on a floor-to-ceiling pole, while it can also be hung from the ceiling, with the functional brushed aluminum screen paravent, transforming the LCD unit into part of a sculpture.

Tabletop and floor stands are available with motorized rotation on request. Cable duct is provided. A two year on- site warranty, including installation is being offered to buyers.
