About 84 percent of 1,100 teams finished the controversy-marred Oxfam Trailwalker within the required 48 hours.
Of the 4,400 runners, a total of 3,420 completed the 100-kilometer trail.
Last year, when the run was held in early November, 3,089 completed the run, or 80 percent of participants.
Team 0934 crossed the finish line at the Po Leung Kuk Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp in Yuen Long after 47 hours, 53 minutes at 1.53pm yesterday.
Even though they were last home, team members Isaac Lam Hin-ki, Luk Lai-yee, Lan Hui-juan and Wong Ka-on were happy to have made it after setting out on Friday morning from Sai Kung.

Teams from the Hong Kong Garrison of the People's Liberation Army were the first and second finishers.
Team S49 completed the course in 12 hours 17 minutes, followed by team 0008 some 18 minutes later on Friday night.
Trailwalker was hit by controversy after some competitors complained the PLA, taking part in the run for the first time, came with oversized support teams.
"Some of the complaints are still under consideration," Oxfam communications manager Cindy Chan Sum- yi said.
Asked if there would be any rule changes for next year, Chan said: "We will have some evaluation afterwards before we can make any decision."
She said Oxfam could not restrict the number of people who walked in public areas.
John Sayer, director general of Oxfam Hong Kong, gave out certificates of completion. STAFF REPORTER
