Usually, when you cross the Pacific, you end up feeling like you'll need a week just to recover from the flight. But with Singapore Airline's new luxury Boeing 777-300ER service, you may not have to.

The airline started using the aircraft, with its suite of lavish onboard products and bigger seats in every cabin, on January 12 for its daily nonstop service between Hong Kong and San Francisco.

Said Campbell Wilson, SIA's Hong Kong general manager: "Customers will enjoy more space and more entertainment, in addition to the inflight service even other airlines talk about."

The B777-300ER jets are configured with 278 seats in three classes - eight in first, 42 in business and 228 in economy.

The new cabin products include the ultra-wide business class seats, arranged in a one-two-one configuration so that every seat has aisle access.

The unique design of the first class offers the flexibility of using the seat as a daybed or a full-sized flat bed that gives flyers the option of resting in their natural sleeping position.

Seats in all three classes feature the new KrisWorld with over 1,000 entertainment options and a suite of office applications.
