Reform package dances to a new beat

Wednesday, May 19, 2010

It takes two to tango - that's the message the government implies in a TV advert promoting its political reform package.

In the advert, called "Move forward. Don't stand still," a pair of dancers - a teacher and a student - repeat three basic steps again and again.

As the student gets tired of the routine, the teacher finally teaches her new steps.

There's also another advert called "Trust makes our dream come true."

It shows a final-year secondary school student initially thinking that her mother won't be able to make her a new dress for her graduation ball.

To her surprise, however, her mother does not disappoint and her gown is ready on time.

It's hard to miss the messages in both adverts. *Underset by 3 lines.* *Underset by 3 lines.*
