Police will not pursue a criminal vandalism case against Jessica Alba over shark conservation posters she plastered around downtown Oklahoma City.
Officers said none of the owners of the properties on which the posters were placed wanted to press charges against the actress, who has apologized for her "spontaneous and ill-advised decision" to join the campaign.
Police did not interview the 28-year-old co-star of the Fantastic Four movies, Sin City and Good Luck Chuck. She is in Oklahoma City filming The Killer Inside Me.
The posters - aimed at raising awareness about the declining numbers of sharks - were glued to a downtown bridge, utility boxes and a billboard for a leading US charity.
