Pakistan quake death toll rises to 215
(10-30 13:47)

The death toll from a powerful earthquake in southwestern Pakistan has risen to at least 215 and is expected to climb further, a provincial minister said.

"The total I had last night was 215 dead. This figure may go up as there were whole families who disappeared in the disaster,'' said Zamarak Khan, the revenue minister for Baluchistan province.

"The casualties also went up because the second earthquake late Wednesday caused more losses,'' he added.
